1. What is Coil Coating?
Coil coating is a specialized coating used to coat steel and aluminum surfaces, after the pre-coated coil is formed. Aluminum generally requires only a single coat, while galvanized steel and cold-rolled steel require a primer and topcoat.
2. Requirements for aluminum pastes for coil coatings:
① Common particle size: 8-10μm fine white and imitation electroplating, 20μm/40μm saprkling
② Coverage: Good coverage is required, and high white brightness is not particularly required
③ Cleanliness: Coil coatings are baked varnishes, so cleanliness requirements are high and must be free of impurities
④ Adhesion: Good adhesion is required, and pigments must not flake off
3. Recommended Products
① Based on customer requirements and user feedback, we recommend Fine white 3508, sparkling 5784, 5770, and 5760.
② For some coil coatings requiring exceptional weather resistance, we recommend using resin-coated aluminum silver paste.
